Los Angeles, Cal. On Monday, October 26, 2020, CBS aired Essential Heroes: A Momento Latino Event to celebrate America's diversity, focusing on the contributions that American Latinos have made to fight COVID-19. The show was produced and hosted by Eva Longoria along with co-hosts Gloria Estefan and Ricky Martin with musical performances, comedy pieces, and appearances by Juanes, Pitbull, Arturo Castro, John Leguizamo, George Lopez, José Andrés, Isabela Merced, Rita Moreno, Ana Navarro, Freddy Rodriguez, Wilmer Valderrama, and a duet by Luis Fonsi and Kelsea Ballerini.

The show also presented several docu-shorts that shared the stories of Latinos who are on the front line helping fight this pandemic. Stories such as the World Central Kitchen, the Lives of Men, and Guelaguetza family restaurant, to name a few. 

The one-hour show was produced by Eva Longoria's production company UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, in partnership with Momento Latino, a growing coalition of activists, leaders, and artists lifting our voices and pushing for change; Funny Or Die, and Global Philanthropy,
