Potomac Falls, Va I am happy to announce that I will be the Maryland Hispanic Business Leadership Online Anniversary Conference's co-host on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This one-day virtual conference will provide insight into the state of Hispanic businesses in Maryland by some of the state's premier business leaders.


Opening remarks will be brought to you by the Comptroller of Maryland, Peter Franchot, followed by remarks from the following Hispanic chamber of commerce presidents: Carmen Larsen, President, Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Montgomery County, Marco V. Ávila, P.E., President, Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Jose Campos, Esq., President, Salvadoran American Chamber of Commerce, Abner Piedramartel, President, US Guatemala Chamber of Commerce.




We have a great lineup of business leaders throughout the conference, starting with Carmen Larsen, President of Aquas Inc., who will lead the Government Procurement and Assistance discussion with the following panel members: Cely Argueta, President of BNG Professional Consulting, Roger Campos, Asst. Secretary of Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, and Eduardo Hayden from the Governor's Office of Small, Minority, & Women Business Affairs.


The second-panel discussion Conducting Effective Virtual Meetings will be moderated by Giovanni Delfino, President of DelfinoCo, with Jose Zavala, President of Latinx Training Centers. The final discussion, A Leadership Journey, led by Marco V. Ávila, P.E., President, Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce with the following panel members: Crystal Rivera, co-founder Puerto Rico Distillery, Gerardo Martnez, President of a Triple Direct Leadership, and Maria Pilar Rodriguez, President MPR Business Solutions.


The Maryland Hispanic Business Leadership was explicitly created for Maryland business leaders. The goal of the group is to be Maryland's premier business leadership resource.
